Unit Price Comparison Calculator
Add 2-4 products with their price, pack size and unit, and see the true price per 100g, per 100ml or per item for each — the same maths behind the small unit-price labels on supermarket shelves.
Estimate only. Figures are based on the prices, pack sizes and units you enter — always check the shelf's own unit-price label for the current in-store price, which is the definitive figure.
Add at least 2 products
Enter a price, pack size and unit for at least two products to see which is genuinely the cheapest.
Why the unit price matters more than the pack price
Two packs of the same product are often different sizes, which makes their sticker prices impossible to compare directly. The unit price — price per 100g, per 100ml, or per single item — strips out the pack size and tells you what you're actually paying for the product itself. This calculator does that maths for every row you enter, ranks them from cheapest to most expensive, and shows exactly how much more each option costs compared with the cheapest. It's worth checking even when a bigger pack looks like the obvious "bulk" deal — retailers don't always price the largest size the cheapest per unit.
